Carbyon

Carbyon is a start-up company with the purpose of turning direct air capture into an affordable and scalable technology that can be used to turn the corner on climate change. We are scientists and engineers with a shared dream: to tackle climate change. Carbyon was founded in 2019 as a spin-off company from Dutch research institute TNO. Carbyon is a science-heavy team, balanced by the support of experienced business professionals. Carbyon is located at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. We are a team of scientists and engineers working closely together on one common goal: scale up this technology cost-effectively and provide the world with a powerful tool in the fight against climate change. Carbyon is part of a rich ecosystem of universities, research institutes, corporates and partnerships. This gives Carbyon access to virtually any piece of knowledge and/or infrastructure that is needed to develop our technology and increase our impact.
